SoulCare Discipleship Intern Program

A group of Soulcare students

The SoulCare Discipleship Intern program provides seminarians an opportunity to receive valuable mentorship, training, and experience in Christian discipleship while investing in their own process of vocational discernment through a paid internship.

How the SoulCare Internship Works

Each academic year, current and incoming Seattle Pacific Seminary students will be selected for the SoulCare Discipleship Intern program. Interns help oversee the SoulCare program by leading undergraduate Wesleyan small groups, and by training and mentoring undergraduate students to lead additional small groups. The SoulCare Discipleship Internship was initially funded through a Vision and Call grant from the Murdock Charitable Trust.

Interns will also be involved in intentional exercises on vocational discernment and discipleship, including readings, written reflections, one-on-one mentoring, as well as participate in an intentional, diverse, welcoming Christian community where strengths are celebrated and growth is empowered through Spirit-led belonging and discipleship. Interns serve 15 hours per week and receive $20.50 per hour.
