Costs and Financial Aid

Seattle Pacific Seminary (SPS) is committed to providing high-quality theological education at a reasonable price. Financial assistance — including scholarships, paid-internships, and graduate assistantships, grants, and loans — is available to qualified students on a limited basis. SPS is an embedded graduate theology program of Seattle Pacific University and, therefore, coordinates with SPU Student Financial Services to provide financial assistance to our students.

SPS offers scholarships, graduate assistantship, and paid-internship opportunities to new and continuing students on an annual basis. Student Financial Services offers assistance to new and continuing students who are interested in obtaining loans to help pay for their education, and provides additional services regarding account payment, grants and scholarships, student employment, and financial counseling on student loans and repayment.

Financial aid policies

All financial aid policies (e.g., scholarships, paid-internships, graduate assistantships, grants, and loans) that are administered by Seattle Pacific Seminary, and the University are regularly reviewed. SPS/SPU reserve the right to change financial aid awards, policies, or charges at any time without previous notice. After the beginning of a quarter, however, no change will be made that is effective within that quarter.

Please visit SPU’s Student Financial Services website for more information. Visit SFS on campus in Demaray Hall 10, or via phone, email, or surface mail.
