Dr. Kenman Wong teaches Business, Ethics & Society related courses on both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He also teaches a course in Microfinance offered to undergraduate students enrolled in the Business and Global Development Studies majors. His research examines how business interacts with important social institutions and objectives such as religion/ spirituality, ethics, medicine, and poverty alleviation. He is the author of two books: Medicine & the Marketplace (Notre Dame University Press) and (w/ Scott B. Rae) Beyond Integrity (Harper-Collins/ Zondervan). His work has been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Management Inquiry, Journal of Business Ethics, and Christian Scholars Review. Prior to becoming a university professor, Dr. Wong was employed with the technology and management consulting firm, Accenture (then known as Andersen Consulting) where he worked with large corporate clients providing consulting services on technology and organizational change related issues. For his work at Seattle Pacific University, he has been honored as the School of Business and Economics' Teacher of the Year (1999-2000; 2003-2004; 2006-07); as Scholar of the Year (1997-1998), and as the Joseph C. Hope Professor of Ethics and Leadership (2002-2005). |
