Recognized as a Global Inclusion & Diversity thought leader, strategist, and supplier diversity expert, Lane has worked with many leading companies including Citicorp, Verizon, The Mashantucket-Pequot Tribal Nation, Time Warner, American Express, Weyerhaeuser, and now Cisco.
Sponsored by the School of Business and Economics' Center for Applied Learning, the Dean's Speaker Series brings prominent regional business and civic leaders to campus every quarter.
Students ― who are themselves aspiring business leaders and entrepreneurs ― have an opportunity to hear from prominent local and regional businesspeople and civic leaders who share their stories and serve as role models. The School reinforces the notion that the practice of business is truly interdisciplinary.
Over the years our Dean's speakers have come from for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental roles. Students are encouraged to look for connections between the subjects they are studying and the stories they are hearing.
