Dr. Franz joined the SBE faculty in 1991 and teaches courses in both the undergraduate and MBA programs. He was awarded SBE's Scholar of the Year award in 1999.

Randy enjoys participating in SPU's tradition of service-learning opportunities. He not only requires his students to conduct service-learning projects, but he has accompanied teams of students on international service-project trips to East Africa (1996) and Lithuania (1999).

Randy continues to consult with a range of organizations regarding organizational development projects, diversity training, team-building and management coaching. He also provides ongoing executive leadership feedback and coaching to individuals.

As a committed Christian, Dr. Franz is actively engaged in exploring how a spiritual worldview informs our understanding of business.
