SFS Undergrad Scholarship
Just another reminder, the SFS Undergrad Scholarship will be online and available to complete starting November 2nd. This scholarship is exclusive to SPU and there are over 70 scholarships available! It's definitely worth applying for! Mark the date on your calendar and then check it out at www.spu.edu/depts/sfs/scholar.asp.

Independent Women's Forum Scholarship Essay
This scholarship is for any female student enrolled as a full time undergraduate student in any college or university during the 2005-2006 academic school year. To apply for this scholarship, applicants must complete an entry form and submit a typed, double-spaced essay of no longer than 750 words that address the following topic: Please discuss your experience on college campus as an independent woman. How has your college or university helped or hindered your intellectual and personal growth? Please describe what you think it means to be an independent woman in the year 2005. All entries must be post-marked no later than December 1st. Applications and instructions can be found in the Student Financial Services office in Demarary Hall 10. Quarterly Payment Plan
The Quarterly Payment Plan will divide your quarter costs over three payments instead of one. There is a formal application and non-refundable $30 application fee required for each quarter. However, you will not receive late fees nor have a financial hold placed on your account. The deadline to enroll for the Winter Quarter 2006 Quarterly Payment Plan is November 15. Volleyball's Last Home Game
Come and cheer on SPU's Volleyball team as they host Central Washington on Saturday, October 29th, at 7:00pm in Royal Brougham Pavilion. This is Volleyball's last home game of the season, and the athletics department would like to thank SPU athletics fans with a promotional giveaway. So come and support SPU Volleyball and you may be a winner!

Choices, Choices - We've got a class for you!
Are you struggling with choosing a major? Would you like help exploring your career options? Or perhaps you just need a little advice on how to handle the transition from SPU to the "real world." Then consider classes offered by the Career Development Center. Registration for winter quarter begins on November 14th and we want you to know about two classes designed to address all of your career concerns. GS 2001: Career Exploration and Planning is a wonderful resource for anyone looking to explore career options and those who are still undecided about their major choice. GS 3001: Career and Life Planning is a great opportunity to put together a resume, learn how to launch a successful job search campaign and get prepared for transitioning from SPU to vocation. Advance Winter Registration
Registration for Winter Quarter is coming soon! All continuing students have been assigned an appointment time, available by viewing "Check your Registration Information" in the Student Menu of the Banner Information System. Winter registration for currently admitted undergraduate students begins Monday, November 14th. Winter registration for graduate students begins Monday, November 21st. Questions?
