Seattle's Urban Intentional Community, an outreach of University Presbyterian Church, will host an information session on Tuesday, October 26 at 7 p.m. in Weter 202. Students are encouraged to learn more about the possibility of living and serving in an intentional community in urban Seattle after graduation. For more information, please contact Owen Sallee, SPU Urban Ministry Advisor, at 281-2932 or e-mail owen@spu.edu.

RAFFLE delay: Day of Common Learning
You may be holding an INVALID TICKET! A couple things have been brought to our attention… Some people may be holding both halves of the same ticket (you would know this because it would say “Ticket" and “Keep this Coupon" and both halves would have the same pre-printed number on them). If this is the case, please bring both halves of your ticket to 2nd floor SUB, Dean of Student Life. Those students who attended the Pride and Prejudice workshop at 1 p.m. in Bertona 3, please bring your ticket to 2nd floor SUB, Dean of Student Life to swap your ticket for a valid ticket. Sorry for the confusion. The winning ticket will be drawn and awarded ($300 towards book purchases in SPU Bookstore) at the Senate meeting Nov. 1st. You need not be present to win. Announcements will be made in To the Point and the ASSP e-newsletter. Contact me with questions: Carrie McCrimmon, x2481, mccric@spu.edu

Student Financial Services Closure
Student Financial Services (SFS) will be closed Friday, October 29th. SFS will be holding an inaugural all-day office planning retreat. We will resume regular office hours Monday, November 1st. If you have questions contact SFS by email at sfs-info@spu.edu or by calling (206)281-2061.
