|New Offices for A.C.E. Language Institute|
“A.C.E. Language Institute has moved into a beautiful location at 18 Dravus Street, suite 100. We're just a couple of businesses away from the Facility and Project Management offices. After 35 years at SPU and eight different locations on campus, we're looking forward to continuing our partnership with the university. You are all invited to stop by anytime. |SFS Closed July 26|

|Reminder: Read or Listen to Lectio|
This free online weekly reading program allows you to explore God's Word with the guidance of an outstanding biblical scholar who has a deeply personal Christian faith. You also have the option of "going deeper" in your study of each week's Scripture passage through links to other commentaries and resources. You can read the Lectio, listen to a podcast, or both. Over the course of four years, you'll encounter a majority of the Bible – and do so in tandem with SPU as students, faculty, and staff focus on the same weekly Scripture in Chapel, community Bible studies, and other worship events. |Mailing and Copying Services Summer Schedule|
Mailing Services is now on a summer schedule. Pickup and delivery of mail and packages will be in the afternoon only. You may come and pick up your mail or packages prior to the afternoon delivery. The hours will stay the same Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. If your office will be closed for a certain amount of time, contact Assistant Manager Elaine Stevens at 206-281-2619 or Manager Frank Kinard at 206-281-2663 as to the dates and times, and they would be happy to hold the mail for you. The Fac/Staff Bulletin is published every Monday during the academic year. During the summer, the Bulletin is published every other week. If you have information or event news, send it as soon as possible to Fac/Staff Bulletin editor Tracy Norlen at firstname.lastname@example.org, or submit an item directly from the Fac/Staff Bulletin. The next deadline is Thursday, August 4. The next Bulletin will be published Monday, August 8.

|Lumpe, Wicks, and Williams Present Research Paper|
Associate Dean of Graduate Programs Andrew Lumpe, Director of Instructional Technology Services David Wicks, and Professor of Curriculum and Instruction Tracy Williams recently presented their research paper titled “bPortfolios: Blog Portfolios and Self-Tagging as Reflective Practice for Teachers." The paper was presented at the Sloan-C Symposium for Emerging Technologies for Online Learning in San Jose, California, on July 13.
|Lee Presents Paper|
Associate Professor of Family and Consumer Science Jaeil Lee presented a paper
titled "A Cultural Comparison of Male Consumers' Sex Role Identity and Attitude
Toward Grooming and Clothing Shopping" at the Global Business and International
Management conference in Seattle. The paper was co-authored by Korea University
Associate Professor Yoon-Jung Lee. Jaeil says, “The presentation went well and the manuscript for the presentation was published in the proceeding."
