Meet our Peer Tutor team for the 2023-2024 Academic Year! Each of our Peer Tutors are faculty-recommended undergraduate students at SPU who have been trained to support and empower your learning.
Effective study is more than just rereading your notes or texts. It’s explaining concepts in your own words; turning your notes into visuals (ex. charts, mind maps); and self-quizzing. Study in the way you will be asked to know the material
Don’t walk in cold. Preview what your class will be covering before class. You’ll understand more because you have context and familiarity. Read chapter summaries, skim sections, and note new vocabulary.
