EARLY CONNECTIONS

Early connections is going to be held on September 20th. It is a fun way for SPU to welcome our freshmen that come from a variety of cultural backgrounds. We will tour around Seattle on the infamous ducks, then after that we will  gather together for dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

 

 

NU EXPRESSIONS

This event is held during freshmen orientation. It is a time to hang out, eat snacks, listen to hip hop, and get to know each other. This typically takes place in Weter Hall

INVOLV-O-RAMA

Come learn about Mosaic at a table we will have set up along with other SPU clubs and organizations.

INTERNATIONAL DINNER

Come makes some new friends and hang out with old ones as you enjoy a variety of foods from different cultures. This annual event will take place on a Sunday in the fall. Further details to come.

 

 

INTERCULTURAL RETREAT

This event is put on by the intercultural director. It is event where The Bridges Floor, ACE, and Mosaic come together to discuss issues dealing with diversity at SPU. Everyone else from the campus is also welcome to join on this retreat at Camp Casey.

 

 

 

 

NATIONAL CHRISTIAN MULTICULTURAL LEADERSHIP CONFERANCE

Come join fellow SPU students and staff as they travel to Cedarville University in Ohio on November 9-12, 2006.  This will be a great opportunity to discuss current issues of race, and learn from others how to deal with those issues on our campus.

New Years Celebration

Come enjoy Asian food, music and dances as we celebrate the New Year. This is  a great opportunity to learn different traditional was East Asians ring in the New Year. Typically this event takes place in January. More detailed info is to come.

 

 

 

 

Club Sub

Come show off your dance moves at Club Sub. Club Sub us a hip hop dance held in the Gazebo room of the Sub.

 

 

 

 

Night of Beats

This is Mosaic's largest event of the year. It is a community event that is held in the Royal Brougham Pavilion during the spring. We show case different dancers and musical artist from the Seattle area, including SPU's own ACF. The event differs year to year, but none the less it is always a hit.
