The Library builds its collection within the context of membership in the Orbis Cascade Alliance. Current distinctive Library Collections include:

The SPU Library is a member of The Orbis Cascade Alliance of college and university libraries in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Students, faculty, and staff have access to more than 28 million items in the combined collections.
The SPU Library is a member of the Open Textbook Network, an alliance of colleges and universities working together to promote the use of open textbooks in higher education.
