Katie Kresser

Katie Kresser, Assistant Professor of Art History, received her PhD from Harvard University in 2006. She earned her MA from Harvard in 2001, and her BA from Indiana University in 1998. Her research focuses on the theory and philosophy of art, with a special emphasis on issues surrounding the rise of modern art in the early 20th century. She has written film and art reviews for Boston area weeklies, and recently published her first feature article in American Art, the Journal of the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
