Student Account System
Students will receive electronic notification of a statement reflecting tuition and fee charges, payments, and amounts due each month. It will be sent to the student’s SPU email address. Student Financial Services will also send a copy of the account statement to an additional recipient (such as the parent) with the student’s authorization.
Due to federal regulations governing the disbursement dates of financial aid, some financial aid amounts may not be applied to student accounts prior to statement production. Therefore, students may need to use their Offer of Financial Assistance to determine the proper amount due on their student account. It remains the student’s responsibility, however, to ensure that proper payment reaches Student Financial Services by the payment due date. If students need assistance determining the proper amount due, they should contact Student Financial Services to talk with a representative.
Students may choose to make payments in three ways: by mail, in person, or online.
Students and families may submit payments via check to the following:
Seattle Pacific University
Student Financial Services
3307 Third Avenue West, Suite 114
Seattle, Washington 98119-1922
Please make the check payable to Seattle Pacific University. Remember to write the student ID on the memo line of the check. Failure to do so may result in processing delays.
Students and families may visit Student Financial Services during office hours to submit payments in person. Remember to note the student ID on checks.
After hours, payments may be left in the locked drop box, located at the north entrance (facing Emerson Hall). Student Financial Services accepts paper checks and cash.
NOTE: Seattle Pacific University does not accept credit or debit-card payments. Rather SPU has contracted a third-party, QuikPay, to process credit and debit-card payments online. QuikPay assesses a 2.75 percent fee on the assessed credit or debit-card transaction amount. Accepted cards include MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and Visa.
Students and authorized payers may visit QuikPay to make online payments. Payments can be e-check or credit card. Students may check their student account to verify the current balance. Please allow one business day for processing.
Commercial banking services are available to you on the SPU campus. U.S. Bank is located adjacent to the SPU Bookstore. Three ATM machanies are available on campus:
- Outside of U.S. Bank
- In the parking lot off of Nickerson, next to the bookstore (BECU)
- In the Weter Hall foyer (Bank of America)
