Dr. Caroline Maurer has served in higher education for the last 22 years, both as a faculty member in teacher education, as well as in various administrative roles. She believes we are lifelong learners and is pleased to provide professional development opportunities for excellent teaching and scholarly excellence, promote mentoring activities, and support the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in teaching.
She collaborates with other offices on campus such as the Office for Sponsored Programs, which assists faculty in applying for internal and external grants and fellowships and with Education Technology Services (ETM) to support faculty in their use of education technology for teaching and learning.
Dr. Maurer received her PhD in teaching and learning from The Ohio State University. Both her MEd in early childhood education and her BS in elementary education are from Wright State University in Ohio. Read her CV here.
