Percussion Ensemble Concert

The Percussion Ensemble will present a practicum performance at 11 a.m. in the E.E.Bach Theater in McKinley Hall. All are invited and free admission. Works by the Manian Ethnic Group, John Beck, Ivan Trevino, Art Cappio, Josh Gotty, Saul Goodman, and Evelyn Glennie will be on the program.

SPU welcomes Rev. Dr. Sam Wells, vicar of St. Martin-of-the-Fields in London, for an evening lecture. Wells, arguably one of today’s most important theologians, is a frequent contributor to Christian Century and BBC's Radio 4 "Thought for the Day." He has written 46 books, including works on Christian ethics, mission, ministry, scripture, liturgy, and preaching. This event requires no registration and is free.

SPU’s Center for Faithful Business welcomes two local leaders, Dr. Richard Stearns, president emeritus of World Vision U.S. who will deliver the evening’s lecture, and Joe Sprague, regional president of Hawai’i-Pacific for Alaska Airlines, will be lecture respondent. The event is free, but registration is required.
