Ames Scholarship

At SPU, we consider a diverse community an asset. That’s why the Ames Scholarships were created to support high school graduates coming from traditionally underrepresented ethnic backgrounds.
Dalillah Bernal“My greatest moments of truth, challenge and growth are undeniably attributed to my student leadership at SPU. God bless the Ames for contributing to my success, as I continue my journey in giving the hope and change God wants to see for the world.”
- Dalillah Bernal, Ames Scholar

Apply to Be an Ames Scholar!

The Ames Scholarship seeks to support students of color coming from the most underrepresented cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We believe these students will bring valuable life experiences to SPU and impact our campus greatly. We will consider students that have cross cultural experiences, a desire to participate in leadership and on-campus activities, and have a strong passion to pursue higher education. The award amounts vary.

To be considered, please submit your Ames Scholarship application by February 15, 2014.

Download application now. You will be able to fill it out, and send it to the address below. You can also fax it to 206.281.2544 or email it to admissions@spu.edu.
