Closed or Restricted Buildings

The following facility restrictions are currently in place due to limited ventilation. Face coverings continue to be required in all of the reduced occupancy locations listed below

1. Beegle – Mezzanine rooms, 206 and 208 single-occupancy only
2. Camp Casey — Large gathering spaces, including Auditorium A, Auditorium B, and Mess Hall B, remain CLOSED.          
3. Cascade House — CLOSED. 
4. FFMC —Sanctuary and Fine Center are approved for SPU use. Wilson building and basement level support spaces in sanctuary building remain CLOSED to SPU use. 
5. IMAGE Houses — Limited single-occupancy office use only, no gatherings or meetings. 
6. Kingswood House — Limited single-occupancy office use only, no gatherings or meetings. 
7. Marston Hall — Reduced occupancy and closures.
   1. Offices on 1st Floor, 2nd Floor, and 3rd Floor South: Limited single-occupancy office use only per Facilities Department guidance to vice provost for academic affairs and deans (e.g., infrequent one-on-one meetings, if windows are open and personal HEPA filter devices are in use).  
8. McKinley Hall — Reduced occupancy and closures
   1. Basement support spaces: Limited occupancy per Facilities Department guidance to Theatre Department chair and faculty August 2021.
   2. Sound Booth: single-occupancy.
   3. Upper Room: CLOSED.
   4. 2nd Floor offices: Limited single-occupancy office use only, no gatherings or meetings. 
9. Moyer Hall — Closures.
   1. Moyer Residence Hall: CLOSED. 
10. University Services — Limited single-occupancy office use only, no gatherings or meetings, limited entry for ID photos or other services, per Facilities Department guidance. 
11. Peterson Hall — Reduced occupancy and closures.
    1. Family and Consumer Sciences offices: Occupancy, per Facilities Department guidance issued August 2021.
    2. Peterson 302 and 303: CLOSED.
    3. Peterson Second Floor conference room: CLOSED.
12. Royal Brougham Pavilion – Reduced occupancy and closures
    1. Lower Gym: OPEN to official use by SPU Athletics Teams, and CLOSED to all other use. When used by SPU Athletic Teams, large fans provided by the Facilities Department must be on.  
13. Student Union Building – Reduced occupancy.
    1. SUB Gazebo: Limited occupancy maximum 12 people with distancing.

Reduced or single-occupancy spaces may be approved for small meetings or gatherings with use of approved, appropriately sized HEPA filter devices. Please contact Facilities with questions about this option.
