Course Descriptions

ENG 4899

Senior Capstone in English

Peter Wayne Moe

TuTh 12:50–2:50 p.m.

In this course, students will have the opportunity to revisit a favorite text they've read or written over their career at SPU.   We will re-read these texts in light of course readings focusing on theories of reading and writing.   We will be considering these re-read texts not as objects of literary criticism but instead for what they can teach us about what it means to read and write today, in our present context.
