The Seattle Pacific University Gospel Choir will perform a special concert on Friday, February 28, 7:30 p.m., at University Presbyterian Church. The Gospel Choir is celebrating ten years under the direction of SPU Associate Professor of Music Stephen Newby. The concert will feature special guests Gospel Worship and Praise Ensemble from Faithful Central Bible Church; and Jimmy Fisher and Contagious Praise.
The choir will present gospel songs, spirituals, and African hymns by Dr. Raymond Wise, William Dawson, and James Weldon Johnson.
