About Lorene Forkner
Lorene Forkner, known for her flair in decorating homes and designing gardens, is a 1981 graduate of Seattle Pacific University and the owner of Fremont Gardens in Seattle (www.fremontgardens.com/).

Lorene is on the Board of Directors of Northwest Horticultural Society and has twice won gold medals for her innovative garden designs at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show. With a degree in the visual arts, Lorene brings a stylist’s eye and colorist’s sensibility to create gardens that feature year-round interest, fabulous color, and amazing texture.
