I’m a graduate of the apparel design program at SPU and so thankful for the University’s help building my career in the fashion industry, including a connection that led to a position with Nordstrom as a textile designer for the Women's Specialized Department. It was then I truly discovered my passion for textile design.
In 2008, I launched Rebekah Ginda Design to provide textile and surface design services to apparel, fabric, and home furnishing companies around the world.
While a student at SPU, I worked at street fairs in the Fremont District, where I met Moeppi Ginda, an internationally acclaimed vaudeville clown. We liked working around comedy festivals, and liked each other even more. We married and since then have been joined by our son, Diemo, who at age 5 already performs with his dad.
The textile design field allows me to spend more time with my son and live in Muenster, Germany, a base for Moeppi's clown career. Believe me, the results of my education are as satisfying as they are productive!
