Often people want to know how long I've been baking. The truth is for as long as I've been able to recite the alphabet! And for almost as long, I thought a cupcake company which catered to special events would be a great idea. When my husband went to work for Children of the Nations, I learned that once a year they throw a birthday party for kids in Africa. I got excited. What if I started selling my cupcakes and used some of the proceeds to help fund those birthday parties?
Today, my Pinka Bella Cupcakes has four retail stores and caters to weddings and corporate events. I've been able to donate thousands of beautiful cupcakes in support of schools, charity events, and children of other countries in need of food and clothing. My dream that began in my mother's kitchen has come wonderfully true!
