Empowering Young People to Share Their Faith at Home and Abroad

In 2007, I (and several others from across the U.S.) began a mission training ministry called Youth Missions International. I'd gone on a few short-term mission trips, including a SPRINT trip to Ireland when I was an SPU student. Then years later, I saw a need for an organization to train young people for the mission field.

Backed by my quality education from SPU, Fuller Theological Seminary, and almost a decade of ministry experience, our organization has grown. Over the past five years YMI has been able to train and send young people to do evangelistic work in over 14 countries from 14 states.

We even have helped form Biola University's mission training for their student-run short-term mission program. In addition, YMI is working to train more young people to live a mission-minded lifestyle at home in other countries. We now have YMI in places like Brazil and Peru with more countries looking to start this year.
