Largest SBE Study Abroad Group Set to Depart The School of Business and Economics has signed up a record number of participants for the study abroad tour to China this Fall. 43 students will be departing on September 4th for Hong Kong. The group includes graduate and undergraduate students, 33 of whom will stay for the entire quarter studying at Southwest University outside of Chongqing. Prior to arriving at Southwest, the group will visit with business leaders in Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong while traveling with SBE faculty members. This is the largest group that SBE has ever taken on a study abroad trip and represents the fruits of considerable efforts to customize and promote a renewed focus on global education. The School of Business and Economics now estimates that nearly 50% of SBE undergraduate students will have studied abroad prior to graduation.
