Fifty-three. That’s how many consecutive games the SPU Women’s Basketball team has won. They’re ranked second in the nation.

Will you be there when they attempt to make it fifty-four in a row? Were you there for that memorable fifty-third triumph? On February 5th, midway through the second half of their game against visiting Humboldt State, Coach Gordy Presnell’s Falcons went on a 17-2 streak, pulling away to win 93-71. You can also monitor the progress of the SPU Men’s Basketball team. Ranked 10th nationally, Coach Jeff Hironaka’s players won their 11th straight victory on February 5th, defeating Central Washington 72-65 in Brougham Pavilion before 2,000 fans.
