Fifty-three. That’s how many consecutive games the SPU Women’s Basketball team has won. They’re ranked second in the nation.

On February 5th, midway through the second half of their game against visiting Humboldt State, Coach Gordy Presnell’s Falcons went on a 17-2 streak, pulling away to win 93-71. Ranked 10th nationally, Coach Jeff Hironaka’s players won their 11th straight victory on February 5th, defeating Central Washington 72-65 in Brougham Pavilion before 2,000 fans.
