Undergraduate students have their dorm rooms, and undergraduate commuters have their lounge. But did you know that graduate students have a bright, quiet study room specifically set aside for them on campus?

Seattle Pacific University’s Library has a conference room designated for graduate student use, large enough to accommodate more than twenty students at individual study stations and tables, but quiet enough to provide a safe haven for concentrated study anytime the library is open. It contains lockers for students to conveniently store belongings, and is furnished with two tables for study or discussion groups. (To reserve the room for a meeting, call 206/281-2413.)

Any drawbacks? You might want to watch out on sunny afternoons — it gets a lot of sunlight and might be a little too comfortable.

So if you’re on campus and you need a quiet place to finish that paper, or just to take a break, come on over to the Library and check it out. You’ll find the Graduate/Faculty Study Room on the third floor. Turn right at the top of the stairs.

For more information, call 206/281-2228.
