An announcement from Student Financial Services
QUARTERLY PAYMENT PLAN
In an effort to provide students and their families with additional
payment options, Student Financial Services (SFS) is pleased to offer
a three-month Quarterly Payment Plan. The Seattle Pacific University
three-month Quarterly Payment Plan will divide the quarter costs over
three payments instead of one. There is a formal application and non-refundable
$30 application fee. However, you will not receive late fees nor have
a financial hold placed on your account.
If you choose to enroll in the plan you will be able to:
- Have a formal payment arrangement for your owing balance.
- Have SFS calculate your owing balance for you.
- Pay your quarter's owing balance in three payments.
- Receive monthly statements to inform you of your payment plan obligation.
- Utilize
Online Payment Services.

Second Cohorts, New Faculty for Residency Certification
There are two important events happening in the graduate parts of the
Residency Certification program. First of all, we have opened second cohorts
for both the Master of Arts in Teaching Program (MAT) and the Alternative
Routes to Certification Program (ARC). Second, we have hired two new faculty
members. Scott Beers is a professor of reading who will be joining the
Residency Certification faculty teaching in both the undergraduate and
graduate parts of the program. Richard (Dick) Scheuerman will be joining
the Residency Certification faculty in the MAT program. He will be working
to revise the MAT, adding an elementary endorsement strand.
