Nomination Instructions

    Each year, two Seattle Pacific University staff members are selected to receive recognition for their outstanding contributions to the SPU community. The awards include the Oral V. Hemry Non-Exempt Staff Person of the Year and the Exempt Staff Person of the Year. To read about the history of these two awards, please click here

    Each award recipient receives a $1,000 check for their dedicated work and accomplishments. Nominations are submitted by SPU faculty and staff to the Staff Council for review and final selection. Staff Council seeks your help in identifying individuals deserving of these awards. (Note: Members of Staff Council are not eligible to be nominated for Staff of the Year awards. If the person you wish to nominate is presently serving in this capacity, you should instead submit their name to be considered for the President’s Award for Excellence.)
