Ivy Secretary's Duties
  • Records and distributes minutes for each officer and member meeting.
  • Maintains an accurate roll of members' attendance at meetings
  • Notifies all members and advisors of place and time for meetings
  • Notifies (with the Membership Chairs) new members of their selection
  • Notifies (with officers) new members of place and time for orientation
  • Orients successor and turns over all materials to him/her.







Alyssa Meyer
Ivy Secretary


Alyssa Meyer is the 2009-2010 Secretary for Ivy Honorary, SPU’s chapter of Mortar Board. She is a senior studying Biology with an emphasis on the human body. In the future she hopes to obtain her doctorate in physical therapy. Alyssa is also the Peer Advisor of 2nd Hill on campus and is involved in Gospel Choir. She loves to sing, play guitar, piano, and flute, as well as attempt to paint and be artsy. Alyssa has a passion for missions and loves to serve. She currently works in the University Library.
