Day of Common Learning October 22.
The campus comes together on October 22 for the second annual Day of Common Learning with molecular biologist, Dr. John Medina. Dr. Medina is the founding director of Seattle’s Talaris Research Institute, which is dedicated to discovering how children think, feel and learn. Falcon Golf Classic Returns September 5.
Entries are now being accepted for the 24th annual Miller|Hull Partnership and Kirtley-Cole Associates Falcon Golf Classic at the Harbour Pointe Golf Course in Mukilteo on Friday, September 5. The Classic, which benefits the SPU men’s basketball scholarship fund, is made possible through various sponsors. The cost is $150 and covers green fees, continental breakfast, buffet luncheon, carts and individual and team photos. Golfers are also eligible for a wide array of prizes. If you are a new student preparing to start classes on September 29, check out the Orientation Web site. There you’ll find the complete Orientation schedule including specific dates, times, locations and events. You’ll also find information about moving in, setting up your computer and campus dining. There are even schedules and information for parents and families. Orientation begins Thursday, September 25. More
