Flexpasses Now Available
Flexpasses for July 1-June 30, 2002, are now available. If you are full- time faculty or staff (.75 FTE), you are eligible to receive a Flexpass. For those of you new to SPU, Flexpasses are purchased from Metro each year and then provided to full-time faculty and staff at no charge. Flexpasses may be used on buses anywhere that King County Metro and Sound Transit travel. Please be sure to stop by the Office of Safety and Security to pick up a Flexpass. If you have any questions about this program, contact Yvonne Miller in Safety and Security at (206) 281-2922.

Churches Near SPU
It's time to update the "Guide to Local Churches" produced by the Office of Campus Ministries (OCM) for students. If you would like to make sure your church is listed, visit the OCM Web site and click on the "Guide to Area Churches" http://www.spu.edu/depts/campmin/. Please e-mail Pam Christensen at pjchris@spu.edu if your church is not listed or if the information listed is not correct. Thank you for your assistance.

Updating Your Voice Mail and E-Mail
Just a reminder that if you are out of your office for vacation or sick leave, please update your voice message as a courtesy to on- and off-campus callers. You can also program Microsoft Outlook to send an "Out of the Office" e-mail for all incoming e-mails while you're away. To do this, select the Tools menu in Outlook and then select "Out of Office" assistant.

The 15th of each month is the last day to make adjustments or additions to your staff payroll check. If you have an change, call Lindsey Peterson at (206)281-2533.

There's Still Stuff Left
There are still some surplus Marston/Watson desks and dressers available at no charge, on a first-come, first-served basis for faculty and staff personal use. They are located on the 5th Avenue West streetscape. You need to arrange for your own pick up and delivery. Please don't take the plywood, 2x4's, 4x4's or any other construction related materials. The construction fencing is generally locked at night, so it is better to pickup any items you want during the day.
