College Success Foundation Leadership 1000 Scholarship
The College Success Foundation is offering $5,000 scholarships to students for the 2008-09 academic year. Scholarship criteria vary from donor to donor, so for more information, please visit the link. Application materials are due by May 15, 2008. [link]


2008-09 SPU Church Match Scholarship Applications Available
Will you be receiving a scholarship from your home church during the 2008-09 academic year? Is your church already approved to participate in the SPU Church Match Scholarship program? If you answered yes to the first question but no to the second question, you are in luck! The 2008-09 SPU Church Match Scholarship application is now available for churches to complete. SPU Young Alumni Council Scholarship
If you will be a senior during the 2008-09 academic year, you can apply for the SPU Young Alumni Scholarship! You must be able to demonstrate evidence of academic success and community involvement and be able to attend the 2008 Young Alumni Endowment Dinner. Application materials are due by March 31, 2008 and can be found in the "Outside Scholarship Notebook" in Student Financial Services or by contacting Whitney Kruse, program manager of grants and scholarships, at whitney@spu.edu.

Make a difference in your world! The Social Venture Competition assists SPU students in developing creative entrepreneurial projects that address social needs. Fremont Bridge Closures
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Feb. 25-28, from 9:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Fremont bridge will be closed to all traffic, including vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

Recruiters from 20 Puget Sound area healthcare organizations will be available to speak with students about health-related job opportunities.
