Fulbright Scholarship Info Meeting
Please come to an informational meeting about the Student Fulbright Scholarships to learn about the application process, the opportunities, and more for next year! CAMPUSDOOR Scholarships

Eastern Washington Section of the Society of Women Engineers Scholarship
The Eastern Washington Section of the Society of Women Engineers administers a $1,000 scholarship to a female student in the rising-sophomore or above classification in the undergraduate or graduate school. To apply they must be a female student who has completed at least one year studies, satisfactory completion of a minimum of 1 year (full time equivalent) engineering credits and a woman residing in the Northwest (inclusive of WA, OR, ID, MT, or AK.) Applications can be found in the SFS office and must be postmarked by May 30th. If you have questions please contact Whitney Kruse at krusew@spu.edu


Ethnic Awareness Committee Scholarship
This scholarship if offered by the Washington Financial Aid Association (WFAA). This scholarship is designed to make higher education more accessible to promising students of color. This is a one year $1,500 scholarship. Eligibility for this scholarship includes: strong leadership ability, academic promise, maintaining a 3.0 GPA minimum, and demonstrate financial need as determined by the 2006-2007 FAFSA. Applications are available in the SFS office and are due by June 19th. If you have any questions please contact Whitney Kruse at krusew@spu.edu


Soroptimist Scholarship of Seattle
This scholarship has been established by the Soroptimist Club of Seattle and is awarded periodically to a person from the Seattle community who is committed to attaining a higher education. This scholarship is awarded based upon demonstrated need. Applicants can be a person attending or planning to attend a college or university, be married, single, with or without dependents. Applicant must be accepted into their specified program of study. Applicant can be working towards a BS, BA, Masters, or Doctorate degree. Applications can be found in the SFS office and are due by June 1st. If you have any questions please contact Whitney Kruse at krusew@spu.edu.

Be an Orientation Team Leader!
This fall, hundreds of new students will arrive at SPU for their first taste of college life. If you have a heart to serve students and a passion for helping freshmen ease into the SPU community, apply to be an Orientation Team Leader! OTLs arrive on campus for New Student Orientation and spend the few days before classes begin leading a group of freshmen or new transfers. Help with move-in, cheer at a soccer game, and share your general wisdom as an older student. Applications will be available at the Student Programs front desk, 2nd Floor SUB, beginning Wednesday, May 17. Questions? Contact Jamie Oaks at oaksj@spu.edu.
