Palmer Lecture Features Dr. Rebekah Miles
The 2006 Alfred S. Palmer Lecture will feature Dr. Rebekah Miles speaking on "The Arts of Holy Living: Wesley, Holiness, and the Means of Grace". The lecture will be held Tuesday, March 7th, at 7:30pm in Upper Gwinn Commons. Dr. Miles is the associate professor of ethics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. With a doctorate from the University of Chicago, she is an author and frequent presenter in the academic arenas. Her books include, The Pastor as Moral Guide (Fortress Press, 1999) and, The Bonds of Freedom: Feminist Theology and Christian Realism (Oxford University Press, 2001). Edward W. Paup, Resident Bishop of the Pacific Northwest Conference, UMC, will serve as the evening's respondent. **CFE Community Event**
