CIS Help: Don't Hate Your Computer
Do you hate your computer? Is it slow, has trouble running programs, has pop ups, or generally frustrates you? Does it seem to know when you're under stress and breaks down at the wrong time? If so, there's still hope. Let CIS restore your peace of mind and improve your computer's functionality with a tune-up. Outside of SPU you could pay $35 - $75 for this service, but here it's FREE. Autumn Registration
Registration for Autumn quarter is coming soon! All continuing students have been assigned an appointment time, and have been notified via email. Students not admitted to a major, will be seeking to meet with their facutly advisor prior to their appointment time. Autumn registration for currently admitted undergraduate students begins on Monday May 16. Autumn registration for graduate students begins on Monday May 23. Questions? OTL = Amazing!!
Are you interested in volunteering as an Orientation Team Leader (OTL) this fall? Job responsibilities include acting as a host, advocate, advisor and friend for new students and their families as they transition to SPU. You'll also facilitate discussions with small groups during the four days of Orientation (Sept. 22-25) and help the Office of Student Life evaluate the Orientation program. Pick up an OTL application in the Office of Student Programs (2nd Floor, SUB) beginning Monday, May 9. Applications are due back in the office on Monday, May 23 by 5:00 p.m. For more information contact Jamie Oaks at oaksj@spu.edu .

NORDIC Club Parade & BBQ
The NORDIC CLUB invites you to join us for the Norwegian Constitution Day Parade in Ballard, Tuesday May 17. This is the Centennial Celebration and we hope to get a huge crowd to march with us. The Celtic Climb For Colon Cancer
The First Annual Celtic Climb for Colon Cancer (C4)- Join the SPU Celtic Society on Sunday, May 15 for a charity climb up to camp Muir (10,500ft, climbing camp on Mt. Rainer). Prior to the climb help raise money and pledges to benefit colon cancer research. Appropriate hiking/climbing gear is required (boots, gators, gloves, warm clothing, etc.). How to Get Rid of Mr. Wrong
Attention WOMEN ONLY: "How To Get Rid Of Mr. Wrong So You Can Find Mr. Right" will be a fun and interactive workshop where female students will leave with an understanding of consent issues, sexual pressure versus sexual assault, how to recognize inappropriate/dangerous behavior and most importatnly, life-saving actions to survive an assault.
