Today's the Day
It's 5:45 a.m. and your alarm has just rung. This time, though, you don't click the snooze button. You roll out of bed and hop to the floor. The coffee's on and you're ready. Today is the day. Yup, that's right. Today is the day you have your papers done for class, you're ready to start the new internship next Monday, and you know what you're doing with your education. You see yourself in the job of your dreams. You're working on your resume and you know that soon, really soon, you'll be doing what you want to do. In a 250-500 word essay, tell us about the first day of your new job, the job that's waiting for you and your expertise. We know you'll do great, and along the way you may win a Monster Scholars Scholarship for all your hard work and dreams. Applications will be judged on academics, school and community involvement, work experience, essay quality and content. Official rules can be found in the SFS office or on the web at http://scholars.monster.com/scholarship_bse.asp. Applications are to be filled out online and are due no later than March 19, 2004. If you have questions please contact Glenda at Glenda@spu.edu.
