COMMUTER NEWS

THINKING ABOUT DRINKING?
So are we. Your commuter senators would like to invite you to a forum being held Feb. 2 in Weter Lounge to discuss different types of drinking that occur during college, and the various effects of these types of drinking. This forum is a prelude to a proposal we will be bringing to senate later in the quarter, either affirming or amending the current off-campus drinking policy. Your input on this issue is an invaluable asset to this procedure, since as your senators we seek to represent not only our opinions but the voice of the commuter population as a consensus. Please attend.

COLLEGIUMS FIELD TRIP
Several Senate members will be journeying to Seattle Pacific University next Thursday to check out their commuter lounges, also known as collegiums. This field trip is an exciting step in SPU's quest to gain a collegium of our own. If any commuters are interested in providing their input about collegiums, please contact any of the Commuter Senators. Your input is important as we attempt to customize a collegium appropriate for SPU's own off-campus residents.
