Senate Briefs

The Student Senate approved funding for a new lens for The Falcon newspaper, a new fax machine in the ASSP office, equipment for the Spirit Squad, and funding for a Transfers Christmas Party. The Senate also allocated funding for students to go to the Wycliffe TOTAL Conference and CPAC Conservative Conference and rejected funding for equipment that would enable KSPU to broadcast from remote locations. The Student Senate also heard a presentation on last year's Community Relations survey. For more information on specific proposals, please visit ASSP Online, and e-mail assp-execvp@spu.edu with any questions.
