- Academic Search Premier - This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. Its coverage ranges from 1984 to the present, with some back files (to 1975) and searchable cited references available.(SPU Only)
- Sociological Abstracts - covers anthropology, criminology, crisis intervention, demography, social psychology, urban studies, violence, and other sociological and social work topics. Its coverage extends from 1963 to the present.(SPU Only)
- ViVa Women's History - ViVa is a current bibliography of women’s and gender history in historical and women’s studies journals. It offers descriptions of selected articles from 180 international journals, with coverage from 1975 to the present.

- America: History and Life - This index of literature covers the history and culture of the United States and Canada, from prehistory to the present, with indexing for 1,700 journals published as early as 1910.(SPU Only)
- Archive Grid - allows users to search millions of collection descriptions for historical documents, personal papers, and family histories held in archives around the world.(SPU Only)
- Communication and Mass Media Complete - offers over 1,000 titles on communication, mass media, and related fields, many with full text available.(SPU Only)
- ERIC via EBSCOHost - This education-resource database includes some full-text documents and the ERIC thesaurus, and it allows users to search PsycInfo simultaneously, limit results to SPU holdings, and link to ILL services.(SPU Only)
- Europa World Yearbook - offers an online, dynamic version of the Europa World Year Book, first published in 1926.(SPU Only)
- Google Scholar - This search engine searches for scholarly research across many disciplines and sources. By starting your Google search from the SPU pages, the results will link to SPU-owned full-text.
- JSTOR - offers digitized versions of core scholarly journals in many disciplines.(SPU Only)
- Legal Collection - contains full text for more than 250 scholarly law journals.(SPU Only)
- MEDLINE via EBSCOhost - MEDLINE covers all areas of healthcare, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, psychiatry, and nutrition. MEDLINE via EBSCOHOST offers some full text and the ability to search PsycINFO simultaneously.(SPU Only)
- New York Times Index - offers full-text coverage of the U.S. newspaper of record. Important speeches and documents, Supreme Court decisions, and presidential press conference transcripts are included.(SPU Only)
- Pacific Northwest Regional Newspaper and Periodical Index - contains citations from hundreds of newspapers and periodicals, as well as monographs, theses, dissertations, pamphlets, etc., covering Seattle, Washington, and the Pacific Northwest.
- Research Library Complete - covers a broad range of topics, with coverage extending from 1971 to the present.(SPU Only)
