- CINAHL Plus - offers information on nursing, the nursing profession, and allied health topics, including nutrition, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Its coverage extends from 1965 to the present.(SPU Only)
- MEDLINE via EBSCOhost - MEDLINE covers all areas of healthcare, including medicine, dentistry, nursing, psychiatry, and nutrition. MEDLINE via EBSCOHOST offers some full text and the ability to search PsycINFO simultaneously.(SPU Only)
- Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews - contains protocols focusing on the effects of healthcare. Data is evidence-based medicine and is often combined statistically (with meta-analysis) to increase the power of the findings of numerous studies, each too small to produce reliable results individually. Includes some full text.(SPU Only)
- Academic Search Premier - This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. Its coverage ranges from 1984 to the present, with some back files (to 1975) and searchable cited references available.(SPU Only)
- Research Library Complete - covers a broad range of topics, with coverage extending from 1971 to the present.(SPU Only)

- Alt Health Watch - focuses on alternative medicine topics, with full text available for over 180 international and often peer-reviewed journals and reports, and excerpts from a variety of other text formats. Its coverage extends from 1984 to the present.(SPU Only)
- Health Source: Nursing/Academic - provides scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. It also features the Lexi-PAL Drug Guide, which offers generic-drug patient education sheets.(SPU Only)
- PsycINFO - This comprehensive research-based psychology database is produced by the American Psychological Association and indexes journal articles, books, chapters, and dissertations from 1887 to the present. It focuses on peer-reviewed literature in behavior science and mental health.(SPU Only)
- Google Scholar - This search engine searches for scholarly research across many disciplines and sources. By starting your Google search from the SPU pages, the results will link to SPU-owned full-text.
- Agricola - This database of the U.S. National Agricultural Library includes citations for journal article, monographs, theses, patents, software, audiovisual materials, and technical reports related to agriculture. Coverage extends from 1970 to the present.(SPU Only)
