Adrienne Meier and Liz Gruchala-Gilbert are the librarians for Classics. They are available to help with research questions for all classics classes. Core Resources
- Academic Search Premier - This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,600 journals, including nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. Its coverage ranges from 1984 to the present, with some back files (to 1975) and searchable cited references available.(SPU Only)
- JSTOR - offers digitized versions of core scholarly journals in many disciplines.(SPU Only)
- L’Année Philologique - covers all aspects of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations: literature and linguistics, including early Christian texts and patristics, history, art, archaeology, philosophy, religion, mythology, music, science, and scholarly subspecialties such as numismatics, papyrology and epigraphy.(SPU Only)

- ATLA Religion Database & ATLA Serials - This database, produced by the American Theological Library Association, indexes journals and essay collections in religion, with links to full text. Its coverage extends from 1949 to the present, with some retrospective indexing underway.(SPU Only)
- Google Scholar - This search engine searches for scholarly research across many disciplines and sources. By starting your Google search from the SPU pages, the results will link to SPU-owned full-text.
- Research Library Complete - covers a broad range of topics, with coverage extending from 1971 to the present.(SPU Only)
