  • Summit Borrowing Back!

    Summit Borrowing, the online system that allows SPU patrons to request materials from other Alliance libraries, is back up and working. Thank you for your patience during this upgrade. New features include the ability to cancel Summit requests yourself if you no longer need the item and, on private computers, the ability to stay logged in to your account for your entire session.

  • Summit Borrowing Offline Tuesday, November 26 from Midnight - Noon

    Summit Borrowing, the online system that allows SPU patrons to request materials from other Alliance libraries, will be undergoing maintenance Tuesday, November 27th, from midnight to noon. During this time you may search the catalog as usual, but requests cannot be placed. We apologize for this inconvenience.

  • Extended Hours Begin November 26

    Starting Monday, November 26, through Tuesday, December 4, the Library will be open until midnight Sundays-Thursdays.

  • Library Closed During Festival of Lessons and Carols Chapel

    Tuesday, November 27, 2012, the Library will be closed from 9:15–10:30 a.m. to allow for campus-wide participation in this event.

    The Festival of Lessons and Carols chapel will be held in First Free Methodist Church.

  • Early Closure on Monday, November 19

    The Library will close at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 19, due to power outage.

  • Library Closed During Thanksgiving Chapel

    Nov 13, 2012

    Tuesday, November 20, 2012, the Library will be closed from 9:15–10:30 a.m. to allow for campus-wide participation in the Thanksgiving chapel.

    Thanksgiving chapel will be held in First Free Methodist Church.

  • Thanksgiving - Library Hours

    The Library will close early (6 p.m.) on Wednesday, November 21, and will remain closed Thursday and Friday. It will reopen, with regular hours, over the weekend. Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving!

  • Veterans Day Observance - Library Hours

    The SPU Library creates a thematic book display every few weeks on the main level--and these items are available for checkout! In addition to traditional books, the interactive display offers QR codes that link to relevant e-books, when scanned with a smart device. Stop by and explore the current topic of social media and politics, or view a complete online list of the featured resources.
