  • Black History Celebration Chapel

    On Tuesday, February 18th, we encourage you to attend a special chapel service celebrating Black History month. The service will be held at First Free Methodist Church at 11:10 AM. The Library, along with all SPU offices, will be closed from 11:00 AM until noon.

    Need a film for your movie night? The SPU Library offers a variety of popular movies, with titles from 2001: A Space Odyssey to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind available for one-week checkouts. Our DVD collection is located in the first shelving unit on the main floor, with most popular titles in the PN1995 to PN1997 call-number range. You can also search for specific titles, using our online discovery system. Movies we don't own can often be requested through Summit.

    Look up course reserves quickly in the new discovery system! Directly above the main search bar, click on the course reserves tab. Search by item or professor name to  locate your reserve, write the call number down, and bring it to the front desk to check for availability.

    The Library has over a dozen meeting rooms that can accommodate groups ranging in size from two to sixty people. These rooms are available for use by SPU faculty, staff, and students for purposes directly related to SPU academic or student life. To ensure room availability, place a reservation online.
