Our Mission

Latreia is Greek for “Worship through Service.” In obedience to Christ and his calling to Christians, Latreia seeks to provide SPU students with the opportunities to serve in the greater Seattle community.

Our mission is to act as Christ’s hands in this world, reaching out to our brothers and sisters, and serving them with the talents God has given us.

Latreia is a resource for SPU students interested in serving in Seattle.

We help match students’ passions, focus of study, or general interests with local agencies looking for volunteers. Service opportunities may be one-time projects or long-term experiences. Projects are in the greater Seattle area.

In addition to volunteer connections, Latreia is a great resource for SPU students seeking to connect with other students with similar interests.
