LIBRARY
SPU's $10 million library, completed in 1994, offers collections,
services and technology, as well as study/research/meeting space.
Research assistance
is provided by librarians with subject specialties in the sciences,
humanities, religion, fine arts, social sciences, business, education,
counseling, and music. Gary Fick, (206) 281-2423, is the resource
person in the library assigned to work with Science and Engineering.
Adjunct faculty
currently teaching for the University have access to library services.
A temporary identification/library card is necessary for checking
out materials.
The open computer
lab is available for students, faculty and alumni use. From this
lab access may be gained to the Internet, email accounts, University
of Washington libraries, World Wide Web, and more.
Assigned class
reading materials for students may be placed on reserve at the
Reserve/Media counter. Forms are available at the library or may
be requested by phone or e-mail. The form will soon be available
on the Library Web

Arrangements
for videos are made with the staff member at the Reserves counter.
