PAYCHECK
Payday is the first working day of each month. You can pick up
your check in the PE office after 9:30 a.m. If you would like
your check mailed to you, please let the administrative assistant
know.
EMAIL
If you need an email account for course related work or academic
purposes, you may establish one by visiting http://www.spu.edu/help/email/createemail.html
If you need assistance, please call Computer Information Services
(CIS) at (206) 281-2982.
FAX
You may send or receive faxes through the fax machine in the PE
office. The fax number for the Department is (206) 281-2784.
MAILBOX
Your mailbox is located in the supply room/cubicle in the main
office. You can receive mail, phone messages, announcements, and
student assignments there. Please check it regularly. There is
an "outgoing mail" box at the front desk. If postage is needed,
notify the administrative assistant or student worker present.
PHOTOCOPYING
A copy machine is located in the office work area. You will be
given a 3-digit code to use this machine. Please plan ahead for
any large copy requests (20 copies or more) as these should be
taken to our campus copy center. The copy center provides 24-hour
turn-around time, but please allow time for the AA to fill out
a copy request form and get it over to the copy center. Your completed
copy jobs will be returned to your box.
IMPORTANT:
You must verify that permission has been obtained to reproduce
copyrighted materials.
Additional
University printed secondary teaching aids such as study guides,
handbooks, workbooks, manuals, lecture notes, extended bibliographies,
etc. must be marketed to students through the bookstore for all
courses with expected enrollment of fifteen or more. Materials
for courses with expected enrollment of less than fifteen should
be marketed through the office.
CATALOG/TIME
SCHEDULE
There are catalogs and time schedules available at the front desk.
Please check the time schedule for important dates such as the
first day of class, holidays, deadlines to drop or add, date and
time of finals, etc. The catalog explains SPU standards and policies
and provides other general information.

CLOSURE HOTLINE
The Snow School Closure Hotline is (206) 281-2800. The recorded
message will give information regarding delayed or cancelled classes
due to snow or severe weather conditions.
