KEYS

A key will be ordered for you. This will admit you to the building, your office, and the Humanities office. Foreign language teachers will also get a key to the Language Resource Room. The AA will notify you when the key is available for pick-up in Safety & Security.

MAILBOX
Your Humanities AA will set up a mailbox for you. All mail and copy requests will be placed there as soon as they are received.

OFFICE HOURS
You are required to keep office hours, so students may come to consult with you. Please let your AA know what hours you will keep. You may have to coordinate hours with other adjuncts that share your office space.

OFFICE SPACE/ TELEPHONES
Your Humanities AA will arrange an office space for you. Usually adjuncts will have to share with one or two others. A key will be ordered for you, and a voice mailbox set up. If you don't want an office, please let the AA know.

PARKING IN CAMPUS LOTS
You can purchase a parking sticker for $35 per quarter. They are available in the security office. This allows you to park in any of the designated lots on campus.

PHOTOCOPYING
Your AA will assign you a copier code for the machine located in the Humanities office. You should use this for convenience copies only. If you need more than 10 copies, please turn in a request for copies to the Humanities office staff. Copies will be sent for printing to the SPU Printing Servies center. Copies will be completed within 24 hours.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
Refer to the online resources for adjuncts or contact your AA or Department Chair. Students must be registered by the fifth day of the quarter in order to continue attending your class.

ROOM SCHEDULING
If your room is unsatisfactory in some way or lacking in some equipment, report it to your AA. If you need a room for a time other than the regular class time, the room scheduler in Student Academic Services should be consulted to confirm availability.

SALARY AND CONTRACT
You will receive a contract from the Budget Manager. The contract, I-9 and W-4 forms should be returned to her. Payday is the first business day of the month, available through direct deposit. If you would like your check mailed to you, please let the administrative assistant know in advance.
