CHRISTIAN FAITH EXPLORATION
Seattle Pacific University Provides a wide array
of Christian growth opportunities on campus and exceptional ministry
programs in the city and around the world. Our goal is to enable
students, faculty and staff to live out the SPU's mission as a
Christian university: to engage the culture with the gospel of
Jesus Christ and make a powerful difference for good. As a member
of the faculty, you'll join other faculty, students and staff
in exploring how the Christian faith impacts your academic discipline,
your own life story and the complex issues you face in society
and the world. There are many activities to choose from when getting
involved.
Morning
Chapel. Students, faculty and staff gather weekly in chapel
to worship God and hear outstanding speakers from campus and beyond.

Church. Among the nationally known speakers who have visited chapel
are Chaim Potok, Tony Campolo, Jesse Jackson and Eugene Peterson.
Worldsong. Once a week, students, faculty and staff can
gather for an informal late afternoon time of music, prayer and
reflection. Worldsong meets on Monday evenings at 5 p.m.
Morning Prayer. Early on Friday mornings, students, faculty
and staff meet for a liturgical service of prayer and Holy Communion.
