PHOTOCOPYING

A copy machine is located in the office work area. You will be given a 3-digit code to use this machine. Please plan ahead for any large copy requests (20 copies or more). Your completed copy requests will be returned to your mailbox, including exams, within 24 hours.

Copies being made for personal use cost $.05/copy. Please pay either Linda or the student worker on duty.

IMPORTANT: You must verify that permission has been obtained to reproduce copyrighted materials.

Additional University printed secondary teaching aids such as study guides, handbooks, workbooks, manuals, lecture notes, extended bibliographies, etc. must be marketed to students through the bookstore for all courses with expected enrollment of fifteen or better. Materials for courses with expected enrollment of less than fifteen should be marketed through the office.

PRACTICUM & STUDIO ENCOUNTER
Studio Encounters or Practicum are held each Thursday at 1:00 p.m. These sessions consist of solo and small ensemble recital performances. Studio Encounters are held each Thursday, with Practicums interspersed. See MUSIC CALENDAR (in Music Handbook and posted on bulletin boards each quarter) for dates and locations of Practicums. There are usually at least 2 Practicums per quarter.

REPORTING EMERGENCIES
On-Campus
If any on-campus emergency situation occurs, contact the Campus Safely and Security Office at x2911 (from any campus phone). For situations that are not emergencies but need Security's services, please do not use x2911; instead call x2922.

For on-campus emergencies, do not call the police, fire or ambulance directly; Security will contact the emergency service(s) that should arrive at the scene.

When calling, give the location of the accident victim and a brief description of the injury. Also, provide the name and phone number of the person reporting the accident.

SAFETY AND SECURITY OFFICE
Open 24 hours. The Safety and Security Office is located at 601 W. Emerson. Security staff members, trained in first aid and CPR, respond to all emergencies and minor injuries and contact the proper city authorities. Security also provides escort service after dark. For emergencies, dial (206) 281-2911 and for non-emergency situations call (206) 281-2922.
