JURIES
Performance juries are held twice during the school year, once during the middle of Winter Qtr. and once at the end of Spring Qtr. Please see the "JURIES" section in the Music Handbook for additional information.

KEYS
The Administrative Assistant will see that a key is issued to you so that you can get into the building, your office and have access to the office copier, etc. There are also keys available to most every locked room within the Fine Arts buildings by asking Linda or the student worker on duty.

KITCHEN
There is a kitchen/lounge area available for your use in the Crawford Music Building. It is located right across from the main office on the 2nd floor. If leaving food in the refrigerator, we ask that you put name and date on it. There is also a microwave and instant hot water available to you.

LIBRARY
SPU's $10 million library, completed in 1994, offers collections, services and technology, as well as study/research/meeting space.

Research assistance is provided by librarians with subject specialties in the sciences, humanities, religion, fine arts, social sciences, business, education, counseling, and music.

Adjunct faculty currently teaching for the University have access to library services. A temporary identification/library card is necessary for checking out materials.

The open computer lab is available for students, faculty and alumni use. From this lab access may be gained to the Internet, email accounts, University of Washington libraries, World Wide Web, and more.

Assigned class reading materials for students may be placed on reserve at the Reserve/Media counter. Forms are available at the library or may be requested by phone or email. The form will soon be available on the Library Web page.

Arrangements for videos are made with the staff member at the Reserves counter. Please call the day supervisor at (206) 281-2415 or the evening supervisor at (206) 281-2786 for assistance. For library resource information, contact the library at (206) 281-2228.

MAIL/MAILBOX
Your mailbox is located in the main front office area. You will receive mail, phone messages, announcements, and student assignments there. Please check it regularly and frequently. Please do not direct students to leave papers and other items for you outside the office. Outgoing mail is collected in the main office. If postage is needed, check with the office staff.
