FACULTY RECITALS

It is customary for members of the music faculty to participate in quarterly faculty recitals. This provides an opportunity for the University faculty, staff and student body to experience your fine musical talent and gifting. Dates will be listed in the Music Handbook.

FAX
The Fine Arts fax machine number is (206) 281-2430 and is located on Linda's desk. You may instruct students to use this number for faxing in class papers. If needed, you may use the fax for personal items. All long distance faxes must be recorded on the log located by the fax machine. Please indicate whether the fax is business or personal use.

FERPA
Certain student information is private and cannot be disclosed without the written permission of the student. This information includes: grades, student schedules and course information.

Grade information (student papers, grade rosters and grade books) should be kept in a secure location. Stacks of student papers should NOT be left outside faculty offices unattended for students to pick up.

Grades should NOT be posted outside faculty offices. Even if the names are blocked out and social security numbers are left to identify students, this is a violation of students' privacy. Social security numbers are considered private information.

Student schedules are private information. The location of a student should NOT be disclosed. In emergency situations, the Office of Safety and Security or the Office of Registration and Records can notify the student while in class.

FOOD SERVICE
Campus Dining Services provides a full range of food and services. Based on your needs, you can enjoy a meal at Crossroads in Gwinn Commons; pizza, burgers, ice cream or soda from Falcon's Landing (1st floor of the SUB); a sandwich (Subway) and your favorite snack from Corner Place Market (north side, ground floor of Gwinn), or a latté and pastry from Academic Perks. Service hours are posted at each location. Falcon's Landing Hours (Autumn, Winter, Spring quarters): Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m. The Corner Place Market hours are from 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
